|Canmore Uncorked Food and Drink Festival – awarded Event of the Year at the 2015 Canadian Tourism Awards – returns for its third consecutive year, April 6 to 17, 2016.
Showcasing Canmore’s remarkable dining experiences and attracting foodies from across Canada, the festival will feature 77 daily set-price experiences, as well as incredible signature experiences such as the Culinary Symphony and the Long Table Dinner.
New events for 2016 include The Launch Party on April 5 where five chefs will go head to head for the title of ‘Chef of the Festival’, as well as Bistro Tours on April 12, 13, and 14 where guests will enjoy a progressive dinner visiting four restaurants with a musical performance in each by Quartetto Gelato.
Returning event favourites the Craft Beer Festival, Wine Festival, and Big Brunch will feature two seating times due to popular demand. The Whisky Festival has been expanded to include a selection of spirits, and a full range of the ever-popular progressive dinner tours also return to round out the festival. Set-price experiences will include 3-course dinner menus with $20, $30 and $40 pricing, as well as a selection of restaurants will also offer a $12 lunch special.
